Bird Dog Field Trials : On Saturday, May 24, 2008, I attended a Bird Dog / Pointer Field Trial in East Windsor, CT. Although the actual competition took place way out in the woods where I couldn't get, I managed to get a few shots around "camp." The fols there were quite friendly and helpful, and didn't seem to mind a camera pointed their way much of the time. A lot of fine-looking horses were about, and the dogs' friendly and energetic personalities shone through in the photos. It was a good way to spend my Saturday morning.
